Sisters identical in every way, born into this world together.
Our Mom & Dad didn't know it but your time here on earth was going to be short.
God had other plans for you and called you home to be with Him.
Our mother was left with a broken heart and cried rivers of tears for you.
Time has healed some of the wounds but you will never be forgotten.
I can't help but think of what could have been and the memories we could have shared.
I find peace in knowing we will meet again one day and we'll never have to part.
Love,
your sister,
~Marilyn

Sweet 16 !!!
My oldest turned 16 on July 10th. We usually have a small family get together, celebrating with cake, ice cream and the persons favorite dinner. Since this was a milestone Birthday, I special ordered a cake from a bakery and bought my daughter a pretty dress to wear for her party. We also reserved the Family Life Center at our church. We invited about 30 guests to help us celebrate. Some friends of ours from church helped with games and music. My husband created a slide show set to the music of Leanne Womack's " I Hope You Dance". We selected pictures that would be sure to have the crowd cracking up and a few tear jerkers as well. I think our daughter had a good time and hope she will remember that day for years to come. WE LOVE YOU VIC!!

Crawling and Driving, my babies are getting mobile!
My twins have started crawling. Kendle started crawling right before she turned 7 months. She started out rolling everywhere. A few days later she was crawling. It was slow at first, but she has gotten much faster. She has recently learned that we have more rooms in our house to explore. I need to invest in a few baby gates. She also likes to eat anything she finds along her path. One day I saw her chewing on something. I did a quick finger sweep and retrieved half of a big black Ant! It must have been pretty tasty because she was very upset that I had taken it away!
Wesley was about a month behind his sister learning to crawl. I tried everything to get him interested in moving forward on his belly. I would put toys just out of his reach. He could not have cared less. He would just lay there and cry. It was a plate of food sitting next to me on the floor that finally sparked his interest in moving. His crawl is more of a commando type crawl. He drags his body with his arms. He is still pretty slow. He likes to follow his sister.... usually a few feet behind. He likes getting into whatever she is getting into. They are definitely partners in crime!
Victoria is my oldest, she will be 16 in July. she is taking drivers-ed. She finished the written portion of drivers-ed with a high A and has recently started the driving part of the class. We told her instructor that our prayers are with him! I let her give driving a try on the dirt road to my in-laws house one day. I found myself wishing I had a set of brakes on my side of the car. She has a lead foot and doesn't quite have the control she needs to drive safely. I decided that day to leave it up to the experts to teach this child. I am sure she will get the hang of it, we will still be sticking to back roads for awhile.

I Never Thought This Day Would Come!
After a very hectic day with 3 appointments,I have decided I REALLY want a mini-van! I never thought there would be a day those words would come out of my mouth. We own 3 vehicles but not one that can carry all 6 of us together. Our most family friendly vehicle is a Chevrolet truck. It is quite the task to have to load and unload the babies in and out of the truck. There is no extra room inside to fit the stroller so I have to chunk it in the back of the truck bed. It is not an easy task to have to get it back out. My day dreams are filled with thoughts of a shiny new mini-van. Oh, the joy it would be to have a button to push and have the doors pop open for me. How wonderful it would be to not have to climb up inside to load the babies car seats. The day has come, now if we could just find a money tree so I could buy my new shiny mini-van.

Here I go !
I am not very creative and I have a hard time expressing myself through writing. I thought I would give this a shot anyway. I really enjoy reading other blogs and want to share part of my crazy, happy life with a teen, a tween, and twins. I also want to share my struggle with secondary infertility in hopes of keeping hope alive in someone going through a similar situation. My page is still under construction as I learn how to use this site.
